They can be used as winding for high-temperature pipes, expansion joints as well as heated steel junctions. Ceramic rope can withstand high temperatures up to 2300°F / 1260°C. In addition to having low thermal conductivity, ceramic rope is also recognized for being lightweight, chemical resistant, and fire resistant.
